Update your HOOBS Device 4.3.0+ via HOOBS 5 Desktop and Mobile Apps
  • Click on your Device found by the Networkscanner




  • Backup & Update
    This will automatically update your 4.3.0+ HOOBS Device to HOOBS 5

    Note: The upgrade will take several minutes up to 20+ minutes. It’s a major upgrade of your system on your device.

  • After successfully upgraded to HOOBS 5 you can use your Device with the HOOBS 5 Apps

  • If the Upgrade fails you can follow the Manual guide button

Update your HOOBS Device 4.3.0+ via hoobs.local

  • Important: Before your Upgrade – Create a Backup

    How to create a Backup

  • Check your HOOBS Devices Dashboard.
    Click on “Check for Updates” to upgrade your HOOBS Device to HOOBS 5

    Note: The upgrade will take several minutes up to 20+ minutes. It’s a major upgrade of your system on your device.

  • If the update available doesn’t show, try rebooting the box.

  • After successfully upgraded to HOOBS 5 you can use the new HOOBS 5 Apps

    • If you are logged in via hoobs.local the new userinterface will appear automatically.
    • If you use the Legacy HOOBS Desktop app. Close the App and open the new HOOBS 5 Desktop or Mobile app.
      (You can now safely delete the Legacy HOOBS Desktop App)

Once thats done it will automatically reboot into HOOBS 5.

For HOOBS Pro (Model HPro-1)

HOOBS 5 is already preinstalled and will automatically be updated version 5+ to support the Desktop/ Tablet and Mobile Apps, through our Fleetmanagement.
