Bridge Configuration is available from two places.
Via Guided Installation – Plugin Configuration – Save.
or via Bridges, clicking on the gear icon of Bridge.
Bridge Status Bar
Bridge Status Bar is a section of the Bridge Configuration Screen
The Bridge Status Bar contains important information about the Bridge Status as individual information blocks:
Order from Left to Right
Bridge Control Block
- Number of installed Plugins
- Number of connected Accessories
- Start/Stop Button
- Restart Button
- Cache Button
Bridge Status Block
- Status Running/Stopped
- Uptime Amount of Time since Bridge started to run
- Memory Usage Amount of Memory used by the Bridge
PIN / Setup Code Block
This block is only displayed when bridge is running and all plugins are configured properly

QR Code Block
This block is only displayed when bridge is running and all plugins are configured properly
- QR Code for Apple Home (or the Matter QR Code) – only available on HOOBS™ Pro Hardware

Cache
Each Bridge contains an Accessory Cache where the Accessories loaded from the Plugin(s) are stored.
This Accessory Cache will be repopulated on each Bridge restart. If an Accessory misbehaves or is not responding try to deleted the selected Accessory from cache and restart the Bridge.
Plugin List
Plugin List is a section of the Bridge Configuration Screen
The Plugin List section contains all installed Plugins on the selected Bridge.
- Plugin Name Plugin Version
- Add more Plugins Button -> Install a Plugin on this Bridge
- Gear Icon -> Plugin Configuration
- Trash Icon -> Confirmation Modal for Plugin deletion
If you delete the last/only installed Plugin on a Bridge, it will ask you if you like to delete just the Plugin or also the Bridge.

Bridge Settings
Bridge Settings is a section of the Bridge Configuration Screen
The Bridge Settings contains all Settings changeable in the selected Bridge.
- Bridge Name
- Bridge Port
- Bridge PIN
- Bridge Identifier
- Bridge Advertiser
- Start Delay
- Delete Bridge Button
- Debug Mode Toggle
Bridge Name
You can change the Bridge name if you like. It takes the Plugin name followed by Bridge as a Standard.
This is to Identify your Bridge in the Bridges Screen and Logs.
Bridge Port
The Network Port wich the Bridge is communicating with your Smarthome. This gets automatically generated at Bridge creation.
Do not change this value unless you have connection problems to your Smarthome.
Bridge PIN
This is the Main Value for the Bridge communication to your Smart Home. This gets automatically generated at Bridge creation.
Do not change this value unless you have connection problems to your Smarthome.
Changing the Bridge PIN will delete your Accessories in your connected Smarthome.
Bridge Identifier
This is the Secondary Value for the Bridge communication to your Smart Home. This gets automatically generated at Bridge creation.
Do not change this value unless you have connection problems to your Smarthome.
Generating a new Identifier will delete your Accessories in your connected Smarthome.
Bridge Advertiser
This is the Communication Method for the Bridge communication to your Smart Home.
Bridge Advertiser: Bonjour and Ciao are for Apple Home connection only.
Matter (only on HOOBS™ Pro Hardware) works with Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
Generating a new Identifier will delete your Accessories in your connected Smarthome.
Bridge Start Delay
This is to delay the Bridge start (value in seconds). Some Plugins might needs this to prevent starting the Bridge before the Accessories are ready or connected to the Network.
HINT: This setting also becomes handy in case there are power outages in your area from time to time. Give your home network some time to start up again and wait until all your accessories are connected to your home network before the bridge tries to start.
Delete Bridge Button
This will delete your selected Bridge. You will need to confirm this action.
Debug Mode Toggle
This will turn on Debug Mode for the selected Bridge. This setting display the Debug Log in the Log screen.
